PTI Securities & Futures LP is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and has a branch office in Glendale, Arizona. Since its beginnings in 1991, PTI has grown its client base through the dedication of its brokers, all of whom have been with PTI long-term and who are former floor traders with years of investment experience.

Dan Haugh joined the firm in 1991 and is one of the founding partners. He is responsible for the firm’s daily operations, and regulatory, compliance and financial activities. He devotes the majority of his time to discussing risk management alternatives with PTI Securities’ individual and institutional clients. Before joining PTI Securities, Dan traded grain and bond options as a floor trader on the Chicago Board of Trade, and stock options as a member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). He also regularly delivers educational seminars to PTI’s clients and is an instructor for the CBOE’s “Options Institute.” He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago. He is a regular contributor to major financial outlets such as Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox Business and First Business Additionally, he contributes to CBOE's community blog. In his free time, Dan enjoys biking and soccer. A native of Chicago, Dan lives in the city’s Beverly neighborhood.
